We have spent months planning our phased reopening to make it as safe and as welcoming as possible for you all!

New Covid legisilation you will need to adhere to:

  1. The Rule of 6- No more than 6 people from more than one household can mix on site. Our team will be monitoring the site and may ask for you to split if they feel the law is not being followed. Exceptions are for those in a support bubble, but please do not be offended if our team approach you to confirm- there interest is the safety of every guest who visits us
  2. Our business has now been placed in a Covid alert level 2 area. This means that households cannot mix indoors but can still mix outdoors or in our marquee. We still have plenty of fun activities outdoors so this should not impact your day heavily!

What is open?

Working to the latest government guidance we have now opened our whole site safely and our team are committed to making your family day out to us as safe as possible.

Our farm park, farm trails, cafe, play barn and marquee are all operating. During October half term our play barn will be open for Pumpkin carving but not for play. 

Good to Go Accreditation

“We’re Good To Go” is the official UK mark to signal that a tourism and hospitality business has worked hard to follow Government and industry COVID-19 guidelines and has a process in place to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

Is it safe to visit the farm?

We are confident that we have worked to the government guidelines regarding COVID-19 and have taken every precaution to protect you and our team.

We are working to a phased reopening at 50% reduced capacity. We will assess daily, and only when we are confident that we can handle more numbers will we implement any changes.

We also have a one way system in place, increased hand washing facilities as well as sanitiser points across the site. More toilets have been provided, social distance markers are in place as well as our reduced numbers and staggered entry time slots to ease the flow across the site.

As we are a farm that is used to controlling zoonotic diseases, we already have very high hygiene and safety measures in place to protect you and our team, so we are confident that we are prepared for our phased re opening

New safety measures

Please do not visit if you are in one of the high risk groups

For your own safety, if you are being told to continue to shield, please do not visit us until you are given advice that it’s safe to do so.

Please do not visit if you are presenting COVID 19 symptoms

If you are showing symptoms such as a high temperature, persistent cough or loss/change of smell or taste then please do not visit the farm.

We also kindly ask that if someone in your household or someone you have come into contact with is experiencing COVID-19 symptoms in the last 14 days that you please do not visit us.

When booking your tickets with us, you will agree to our terms and conditions which states that you will not attend if experiencing symptoms.

Pre-bookings only

We will be operating on a pre booking basis only so that we can ensure that we are not allowing to many people on site and so social distancing can work.

If you have not pre booked then unfortunately you will not be able to enter the site

Card Payments

To protect our team from handling cash, we will be only taking contacless or card payments wherever possible

Previously booked tickets and vouchers

My booking was cancelled due to being us closed how do I use my tickets on a different day?

We will turn your tickets to credit which you can use against any bookings. To book your tickets you will need to email the office events@bluebelldairy.co.uk with your booking reference number and we will arrange your tickets for you.

I have a free return pass, can i use these for entry?

At the moment we will not be taking free return vouchers whilst social distancing is in place (except Peter Rabbit Weekend ticket holders) If you could please hold on to your tickets, you will be able to use them when social distancing measures drop.

Are you still taking on new annual memberships?

At the moment we are not accepting any new memberships but we will be taking them from January 2021.

I booked on an event day that had to be cancelled?

Peter Rabbit weekend:

For those of you that chose to have the build at home kit with free entry vouchers, you will be able to use these from 4th July. To book your tickets, you will need to email the office on events@bluebelldairy.co.uk

For those who chose to move to the rescheduled date, we are still confident that will be able to offer a safe and fun experience at a later date. If you would prefer to switch to a build at home kit and day vouchers then please contact our office on events@bluebelldairy.co.uk

Easter in Wonderland tickets:

For those of you that booked for our Easter in Wonderland tickets, you will be able to use your credit towards a future booking from 4th July. Please contact events@bluebelldairy.co.uk

Your visit to us

Please be kind to our team

Our team are very excited to return to work and are committed to making your day as safe as possible. This will involve some changes to our way of working and may take a little bit of adjustment. Please be patient and kind to our team whilst they try to protect you and your family on your visit to us and ask you to follow the rules or take a bit of time with your bookings.

What is the catering offering?

Our cafe is now open operating  and we are running with a delicious new Autumn menu. Seating is at a reduced capacity however we have plenty of indoor seating in our marquee available.

Our outdoor kiosk is also serving hot drinks, ice cream and hot snacks 

Can I still bring a picnic?

Yes of course you can, we have created a big picnic area in our big field for you to use as well as picnic tables distanced across the site

Can we use the toilets?

Yes, our toilets will be open to use in the cafe and has socially distanced measure in place such as a one way system and queuing markers. We have also made all toilets unisex to help with queues and have cleaning facilities for you to use if you wish. Our regular cleans will still take place to minimise risk.

In addition to this we have some portaloos on the main site as well as disabled portaloos too

What about hand washing?

We already have hand washing facilities in place but we have build additional sinks to use in the park. As well as the sinks we have installed multiple hand sanitiser points where hand washing isn’t available or where an activity takes place.

As always, hand sanitiser is NOT a replacement for handwashing, but to be used in addition to hand washing or where hand washing is not available. Always wash your hands for 20 seconds regularly.

Cleaning regimes

Before we closed we had already implemented hourly cleans across all areas of the site and we will continue to use this practice when we reopen. Whilst our staff are cleaning we may need to close certain areas temporarily, but will be open as soon as we can.

If you become unwell on site

If you feel unwell for whatever reason on your visit to us, please contact a member of staff and our first aid team will be happy to assist. Our staff will be in full PPE when dealing with first aid for their protection. We appreciate it may look a little scary but we want to make sure you and our team are as safe as possible!
