An unforgettable Highland cow experience in a beautiful countryside setting in Derbyshire
Our Highland Cow Experience at Bluebell Dairy Farm are a fantastic way to connect with our wonderful cattle, learn more about them and their lives on the farm. Whether it’s a fun family outing, a unique date or a thoughtful present, this experience is designed to create unforgettable moments. In our Highland Cows experience, you’ll meet our friendly Highland cattle up close, enjoy brushing and stroking them, help prepare their vegetable treats and feed them by hand for a truly hands-on and unforgettable visit.
During your 45-minute session, one of our experienced farmers will guide you to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. You’ll have the chance to brush, stroke, and feed one of our Highland Cows, discover fascinating facts and behind-the-scenes insights, capture heart-warming photos and even assist in preparing their feed. You will also get all day access to our farm park to enjoy the rest of our farm and the activities on offer that day.
Our animal experiences start in February and finish in September.
There’s nothing quite like spending time with our majestic Highland cows and enjoying a day out at our farm park to warm your heart and brighten your day. From getting up close with these gentle giants to soaking up the sights, sounds, and atmosphere of the farm, this experience promises plenty of fun, fresh air and memories to last a lifetime.
The Highland Cow Experience includes all-day entry to the farm from 10am to 5pm, so you can enjoy everything else Bluebell Dairy Farm has to offer including our timetable of activities – making it a truly extra special day out.
Minimum age: 10 years old
Supervision: Children must be accompanied by a supervising adult aged 18 or over (at least one adult per booking)
Group size: Minimum of two people per booking, maximum of 5 people
