Step into a world of festive wonder this Christmas at Bluebell Dairy, where magical memories await around every corner. From twinkling woodland trails and cosy festive cabins to real reindeer, Christmas cuddles and a truly magical visit with Santa himself, this is a Christmas experience the whole family will treasure. 
We’re also delighted to offer dedicated SEN sessions with reduced visitor numbers and a calmer atmosphere. The only guided part of the experience will be your journey on Santa’s Candycane Express to Santa’s Woodland Cabin and a GROUPED special visit with Santa. After that, families are free to enjoy the rest of the Christmas activities, characters and festive experiences in their own time, creating magical memories without feeling rushed.

Climb aboard Santa’s Candycane Express and journey through the farm with our cheerful elves as twinkling lights guide the way towards the woodland. Travelling with your on board Elf, little ones will make their way to Santa’s cosy cabin hidden near the trees, where a magical Christmas welcome awaits.
This year, Santa has moved to a beautiful woodland cabin hidden amongst the trees.
Gather together for a festive group experience with Santa, with each family welcomed up individually to share their wishes and create a special Christmas memory.
Put on your Christmas Spirit Glasses and wander through snow-topped trees and twinkling lights. Along the journey, magical symbols hidden amongst the trees will reveal your unique Christmas magic personality. Before you leave, add your Christmas wish to our wishing trees and become part of the magic of the woods.
We want every family to enjoy the magic of Christmas at Bluebells in a way that feels comfortable and enjoyable for them. That’s why the majority of our Christmas experience has been designed as a free-flow event, allowing families to explore a variety of enchanting Christmas activities, interactive experiences, magical characters and festive surprises at their own pace.

Step inside our enchanting Toy Emporium, where window displays showcase a large selection of toys for all ages. Our Elves will help your children input their toy selection into our Magical Chimney and watch the Christmas magic come to life as their toy is delivered from above in a cloud of smoke.
Join our elves at the Christmas Cuddle Company and create your very own cuddly reindeer friend to take home. From soft stuffing to festive finishing touches, little ones can bring their Christmas companion to life in this cosy North Pole workshop.
Meet Sven and Oaken, our beautiful real reindeer, in their cosy winter home within the Cow Palace. Guests will also have the opportunity to purchase lichen to feed the reindeer during their visit.
Create your own magical bag of reindeer food ready for Christmas Eve. Mix together ingredients with the help of our elves before taking it home to sprinkle on your lawn, helping guide Santa’s reindeer safely to your house on Christmas night.
Visit Santa’s traditional North Pole Post Office and write a special letter to Father Christmas. Complete with festive stamps, post boxes and plenty of Christmas spirit, children can send their Christmas wishes directly to the North Pole as part of their Christmas at Bluebells experience.
Keep your eyes peeled as you explore the farm in search of our festive selfie spots and capture magical family moments to treasure.
Take a moment to warm up in our cosy Alpine Bar with a rich and indulgent hot chocolate made using milk from our very own cows. Surrounded by festive lights, woodland charm and the magic of Christmas at Bluebells, it’s the perfect place to relax and soak in the atmosphere of one of the best Christmas experiences in Derby.

We went for the Santa experience, My mum is disabled and 80, the elves were amazing, every one super nice and trying to help my mum. it’s like they’ve found actual elves. to say they do that all day, every day, it didn’t feel like that. great staff and a lovely time had by all. well done guys and girls
Best Christmas experience ever! What can I say about bluebells Christmas experience? It's just magical in every way. 10/10, I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff pay attention to all the little detail and do an incredible job, going above and beyond to keep the Christmas magic alive. I took my daughter (10) and my 4 month old baby, my baby was in awe of the lights and incredible decorations... really professional looking, so much to look at she did a happy dance in my arms all through the experience and nodded off as we got to Santa. It's the 5th year my eldest and I have been here and it never gets boring. Thank you
When my wife came home and said how much she had paid for an experience with Santa I have to say I initially questioned her, but having visited today I am nothing but complimentary. You get a lot for your money, presents for the children, chocolate, hot chocolate, a teddy, but most of all an experience that the children really enjoyed and that is (for us and hopefully everyone) what it is all about. The staff were enthusiastic and engaging, special shout out to the Huskey Aroo, great way to start, if I was being ultra picky some of it could be a bit more polished, but that is ultra picky. You also get access to the adventure area and the farm to visit the animal. Clear instructions throughout, easy to find, plenty of parking. I can see why they get booked out so early!
You are welcome to enjoy the farm from 9am. However, to ensure a smooth check-in process, please arrive at least 30 minutes before your booking slot. The timeslot you book is the start time for your visit to Santa, please do not be late as we will not be able to move you to a different timeslot. Instead we will slot you in to the experience with the rest of the group for your time slot and you are likely to have missed part of the experience.
Your visit to Santa will take approximately 45 minutes and includes a festive tractor ride, a special visit to Santa’s cabin, and time in the toy emporium. Once your Santa visit is complete, you are welcome to enjoy the rest of our Christmas activities around the farm at your leisure.
Yes of course. Please note that at this time of year some of our paddocks will be empty and the animals will be in their winter housing.
The animal patch is open, but please be aware that at this time of the year some of the animals are in their winter housing so there may be some empty paddocks.
As the Christmas event is now a full day, we recommend dressing appropriately for a farm in the winter.
If you are unsure of anything to write at the time of booking, you can edit this until 7 days before your visit.
To visit Santa together, please make sure you book the same timeslot. If you have booked different timeslots, your Santa visits will be separate, but you can still enjoy the rest of the Christmas activities around the farm together at your own pace.
Sorry, we cannot accommodate pushchairs on the tractor ride or in Santa’s cabins. For the comfort and convenience of all guests, we recommend bringing a baby carrier for children under 1 year old. A designated area is available for pushchair storage during your tractor ride visit to Santa. We can accommodate one wheelchair per tractor ride but please be aware that there are loose surfaces and raised thresholds throughout the farm. The tractor ride is not suitable for motorised wheelchairs.
