We are thrilled to announce that Bluebell Dairy, a cherished family-run destination near Derby, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Visitor Attraction of the Year award at the Visit Peak District Awards 2025. This incredible recognition celebrates our commitment to providing unforgettable experiences for locals and visitors alike, further cementing our reputation as one of the region’s most beloved attractions.

Blending traditional farming heritage with modern innovation, we at Bluebell Dairy have strived to create exceptional experiences for our visitors. From our delicious, award-winning ice cream to engaging family-friendly farm activities and the idyllic countryside setting, we are proud to play a part in the thriving tourism economy of Derbyshire and the East Midlands. The region welcomes over 42 million visitors annually, and we are honoured to be considered among its leading attractions.

Jo Dilley, Managing Director of Visit Peak District & Derbyshire, highlighted the significance of this year’s awards and the achievements of all the finalists:

The Peak District, Derbyshire & Derby Tourism Awards are a celebration of our vibrant tourism industry and its enormous contribution to the local and regional economy. As we look forward to celebrating with finalists and partners at our landmark joint Derbyshire-Nottinghamshire awards ceremony in 2025, it’s an extra-special time to not only celebrate individual businesses, but to also recognise the importance of the visitor economy in delivering growth, supporting jobs and driving economic prosperity across the East Midlands.

“Our 2025 finalists are a fantastic mix of diverse, innovative and passionate businesses from across the county who deliver consistently high quality, memorable experiences for some of the 42 million visitors who come to the area each year. It will be a privilege to bring all the finalists together next March to mark their achievements and we wish every shortlisted finalist the very best of luck.”

Our very own Rosemary Brown expressed the joy and gratitude of being shortlisted:

“We are incredibly grateful to be shortlisted for such a prestigious award. This recognition reflects the hard work of our team, our commitment to sustainability, and the incredible support of our visitors, who inspire us to keep innovating and providing memorable experiences.”

The winners will be announced at the joint Derbyshire-Nottinghamshire awards ceremony in March 2025, an event that will not only celebrate the achievements of individual businesses but also highlight the broader success of the region’s visitor economy.
